SEPULTURA To Cover EXODUS Classic For Upcoming EP

SEPULTURA will lay down a cover version of the EXODUS classic "Piranha" during the recording sessions for their upcoming mini-CD, due later in the year.

As previously reported, SEPULTURA are tentatively set to enter Trama studios in São Paulo, Brazil during August to record a mini-CD consisting of five or six cover songs and two new cuts, to be released through an as-yet-undetermined label. At the moment, the plan is for the EP to be issued in Brazil only, although a possibility exists that it will be released in other parts of the world, "depending on how [the CD] turns out," according to drummer Igor Cavalera.

Among the songs currently being considered for inclusion on the upcoming EP are the following:

01. EXODUS – "Piranha"
02. HELLHAMMER - "Messiah"
03. PUBLIC ENEMY – " Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos"
04. JANE'S ADDICTION – "Mountain Song"
05. DEVO – "Mongoloid"
06. U2 – "Bullet The Blue Sky"
07. Corrupted (new song)
